As the owner of a small business, my startup job was do everything.  I really don't have a job profile.  Our business was started in 1983 and because of the economy, we are losing customers.

A good startup job would be something on the ground floor.  Get to know all aspects of the company.  Take on as much responsibility as possible.  Knowledge is power,  Plan your work, work your plan.
