That depends a lot on what you are going to use it for,  targets or hunting, long or short range.  One answer won't apply to all situations.  A pretty good all around bullet for an '06 is a 180 grain boat tail with a sharp tip.  

If I can't always dazzle 'em with brilliance, I'll try baffling 'em with BS. Band of None
