Can I build my home myself

hI want to know is it possible to build a custom home for myself by myself either a cabin or timber frame, or alternitive style home "straw bale" home in either chenago or madison counties in central New York

I think you would have to apply for permits and be the owner of the land. Contact the township to find out what the process is. Good luck.
