five cent coins 1900. I have a united states of america Nickle from 1927 1929 and 1936 with a buffalo on it Was trying to see if they are worth any money
all depends upon condition and the mint mark . Don't have my current red book in front of me . However most old siver being sold for scrap brings generally 7 to 10 times face . If you have a local coin shop and or pawn shop they can give you the infornmation you need .
The old Buffalo nickels do not contain any silver, but are still worth more than 5¢. However, what you have are common dates. In my shop in average circulated condition, I would pay 25¢ to 35¢.
THE 1927 AT MS63 IS WORTH ABOUT 80.00. THE 1929 ALSO AT MS 63 IS WORTH ABOUT75.00. LAST, THE 1936 IS WORTH ABOUT 45.00. HOWEVER, IF YOU HAVE A 1936 PROOF IT IS WORTH ABOUT 1,200
the (5) one cent coins you have are called Indian Head cents. In average circulated condition they are worth about $2 each. The buffalo nickels, all 3 years you listed, in average circulated condition are worth about $1.50 - $2.00 each. If any of these coins are in beautiful condition and you can see every detail of the coin clearly, you have coins that may be worth very much more. Get them to a dealer or collector if they are exceptional .
