There are always good last minute deals with some of the larger chains like Novotel and Thistle, do some research online and you will find some good deals.

Yes, you can get rooms in London for less than £25 per person per night, especially if you book ahead. The best place to find and book budget accommodation in London – or in any part of the world – is Hostelbookers . I just tried it and you can book a private twin room in a decent backpacker hostel for less than £50 a night for the room, right in the centre of London.
