Please double check to make sure you haven't accidentally marked yourself as Invisible. To check, click on your AIM icon. Under your name, you will see if you are listed as Available, Busy or Invisible.
I have the same problem and am not marked as invisible.

I have the same problem...and sending a screen shot wil not help all it is showing is offline
