What Should I Bring on a long Car trip

Next week I am going on a 5-6 car ride for vacation and I wanted to bring more stuff to keep me occcupied, so far i have:

Ipod

Nintendo DS

Cell Phone

Some Snacks and Drinks  

Not alot as you can see, So Please help me!!!!! Thanxs

Note: Please dont say thats enough because i get bored real easy!!! Oh and another thing my brother will not play any bored games or ISPY things wiith me either so do not say bored games!!!

Mad Libs, Hangman (you can find this in self-contained wooden versions as well as scratch-off versions) and a book or two are always in our travel satchels.

If you're crafty, you could take along a small easy craft to work on (nothing with small pieces).

Magnetic desk toys can also keep you entertained for a while, especially if they're the kind you have to stack or sculpt into various shapes. Silly Putty can be fun too, especially if you have comics to press them onto.

Wander the toy aisles and see what appeals to you ~ and have fun!

Something that will never bore you would be trying your hand at creative writing. All you need is a legal pad and a pencil.  Start writing anything that comes into your mind and do not read what you have written until a specific amount of time.  Like 5 minutes or 2 minutes or 30 minutes. Whatever suits your personality.  This is so much fun because it is silly writing and amazing as to what comes out of us when we just let our minds (creative minds) soar.  That's what I would do for fun.  You can ignore everyone else and just stay inside your own head and entertain yourself royally. Good luck.

Try a puzzle book, sudoku maybe.  There's knitting or crocheting or needlepoint or embroidery or cross stitch.  We used to play "Kill The Lyrics" on long car rider but you could do it alone too.   Take one of your favorite songs and change the lyrics to make it silly, maybe about a pet or another person or better yet . . . . . . your brother!  Just write them down!

You could play anagram games . . . . . Find an interesting sign, store name or town name,  like maybe Deb's Flowers.  Take that name and try to rearrange the letters to make new words, like feds blowers or wolf breeds.

I'd bring lots of books. But I guess people don't enjoy reading anymore.

If a little knowledge is a dangerous thing, then that makes me a burning truck filled with TNT hurtling through a rocket fuel depot.
