You should decide which Hospice you are going to use, then ask them for guidance in how to speak with your parent.  All of them have councilors for this very hard situation.  Good luck!

So I got me a pen and a paper, and I made up my own little sign. I said, "Thank you Lord, for thinkin' about me, I'm alive and doin' fine."
