I don't know, but I wish they'd kept the idea to themselves. 

I like the message boards!  If the message boards are discontinued, I might discontinue AOL...

Pretty much, yeah. they just don't care anymore. There's no way they can think AOL Ans replaces the message boards. & knowing that they don't, shows thye don't care.

Boards were the last GOOD thing about AOL.  So, any opinions on FireFox, GoogleChrome?

However, if user pressure convinces them to keep the boards, I'd strongly recommend they go back to monitoring.  Lots of flamers, spammers, etc. these days.

Yup, and what is disgusting about aol answering junk is ads ad infinitum before being able to rea your own comments let alone the comments of others... constantly keeps throwing you into junk you have no interest in.. we aol message board nuts like a million subjects instead of frozen into the mind control brainless world..

AOHell management must all be democrats, 'cause they keep coming up with loser ideas. If I want any answers, I'll use Google to find them, which I pretty much do anyway, not this lame-assed AOL Answers.
