I have and use Windows 7 so I'll give you that to see if maybe that will work. Do one thing wrong and it won't work.

Access Denied - For the file in question.
Right click - properties - Security Tab - Advance Button -
Change Permissions - Edit - Allow - OK- Apply - OK - OK - OK
