It is now July 2012, about one year later than most of the other posts. This summer I am reading:

I Never Promised You a Goodie Bag, by Jennifer Gilbert

Cirque Du Salahi, by Diane Dimond

The Zodiac Killer Cover-Up AKA The Silenced Badge, by Lyndon E. Lafferty

The Rock Star In Seat 3A by Jill Kargman

The Best Day of Someone Else's Life, by Kerry Reichs

The American Heiress, by Daisy Goodwin

Roses, by Leila Meacham

From Notting Hill With Love . . . Actually, by Ali McNamara

The Man Who Couldn't Eat, A MEMOIR by Jon Reiner

The 17-Day Diet, by Dr. Mike Moreno

The Art of Styling Sentences, Fourth Edition, by Ann Longknife, Ph.D. and K.D. Sullivan

ENDURANCE Shackleton's Incredible Voyage, by Alfred Lansing

I love when people recommend books and usually read the book he or she recommends. Sometimes I will read a book just to see if I can figure out why that person recommended that particular book.

I'm interested in watching this question . . .

  • The President's Vampire by Christopher Farnsworth
  • Blood Oath by Christopher Farnsworth
  • Red, White and Blood by Christopher Farnsworth
  • The Strain Trilogy by Guillermo De Toro and Chuck Hogan
  • Book I:  The Strain
  • Book II:  The Fall
  • Book III:  Night Eternal
  • The Passage by Justin Cronin (currently waiting for book II)
  • The Wolf Gift by Anne Rice (Just started)

I read PILLAR OF THE SKY, by Cecelia Holland~~ It's a novel about how Stonehenge could have been built.

Now I'm reading WIELAND, or the TRANSFORMATION, by Charles Brockden Brown.  This is a novel written in the very early 1800's.  I love the language and vocabulary!  It's amazing!  To me it's like a great desert.  Fascinating tale, too, but I haven't read that much of it yet, so I can't tell you what it's main story is.

But mostly I watch HULU!

I read ,The Confession' by John Grisham.  It was a good read but I liked others he had written better than this one.

'I Remember Nothing' by Nora Ephron I enjoyed it.  I like anything she has written. She passed away recently
