Does this book cover description sound familiar??

My Mom and Aunt are trying to find the title of a book they enjoyed as children.  The only details they remember is what the cover looked like. This would be a  childrens fiction book  from the 1950's  . The cover shows a girl dressed in Prairie style clothes , carrying a stick over her shoulder with a tied bandana on it.  There is also a windmill in the background.  

I would appreciate any input.
