boat is leaking. after putting water in through the drain there are no visible leaks outside of the boat but after putting the boat on water it takes on water and the bilge pump spits water for about 20 minutes

Have to be more specific, motor is an inboard/outboard, outboard, made by who??

If Mercruiser, possible leaking will occur at Ujoint bellows, shift cable bellows.

Best to take to a boat repair shop
