The answer is kinda both yes and no... What you might be thinking about is of late, Disney has been including a Bluray disk and a traditional DVD in their "Combo" packs, so No you can't play the Bluray but yes if you bought the Bluray/DVD combo pack you can play the DVD in a traditional player.
