Discuss Maanii Irshad's answer to: Blogs? Why have them?

Call me ignorant but I can't figure out how you would make money by having a blog? Why would you get paid for having a blog? Who pays you? Why would they pay you? I guess I'm new to blogs.

 Many people hope to see an obvious answer (Money), but that’s not true. People blog for many reason. Here are some of the reasons which I can think of, rest you can add contribute as a comment :
