You guys are missing the basic point.

Religious or not, the people in jail are converting to ideals that are completely false and don't solve their problems. Religion offers redemption for everything as if consequences don't exist.

Religion is the best away to deflect reality, let people IGNORE whats right in front of you! That's why we have the words like ignorance and even more dangerous. . . INDIFFERENCE!

Lets get this straight, religion is completely false and detrimental to society now. Religion doesn't allow individuals to perceive reality as it is. It actually distorts the mind before having any experiences.

You proved my point with your answer. Defensive from the get go. You didn't offer any facts to destroy my comment. Only way humans can ever defend their religion is to physically act it out on others. Crusades French Wars of Religion Thirty Years War Taiping Rebellion The last 1000 years in the Middle East Saxon Wars Jewish-Roman wars Nigeria (Muslims and Christians) India and Pakistan Let me know when I should stop............. The fact that I have to list this shows how bad human memory is and the ability to ignore facts when they don't please us. More than anything it proves how dumb we are.
