I think I know what you are trying to say, and I must apologize for the other rather unkind replies on this site!!

Yes, beauty comes from within, but, unfortunately, the world does not operate that way.........the emphasis on looks, clothes, etc., has always been with us and will always be with us......

You don't have to go along with this if you don't want to, but you do have to admit. looking at least 'presentable' does make you feel better about yourself.....and you don't have to wear makeup, etc., but let's face it, NO WOMAN IN THE WORLD is a 'natural beauty'.....there is just NO such a thing!! a minimal amount of makeup never hurt a woman's looks, and in turn, makes her feel good about herself.....

I am a retired makeup artist, so you may think I am 'prejudiced' in regard to your question, but really I'm not.....I have worked with ladies who never wore any makeup, & when they learned how to properly apply and remove it, they were a different person...their outlook on life changed, etc........by 'makeup' I mean learning how to apply some blush and lipcolor, maybe mascara; not a full-out makeup base, etc....just the 'basics'......

anyway, I've rambled on too long!!  But I am a little annoyed at the 'smartass' answers you got!!!

To answer Lisa who does not have a reply box and said money is all. Poor Lisa money can be a tool and can be the root of all evil. If a person is rich within they are lucky indeed. Yes you pay your rent and food hopefully you are not fat and a vegetarian then you do not need much more because you are so rich and fulfiled. It is in giving you receive. Pity the ones who are not lucky from within and need, always needing to follow the fools who will sell them anything to profit themselves. To be humble is to be great. You do not need the approval of any other because you have beauty in you. Some need to make a joke because they are shadow and empty without any deph and have no recource but to joke and look foolish. Some take life secerious and can still have a good laught. To get to this point one needs to live outside the box to see suffering and to be humble as to reach down to that pain and suffering and bring it into a better light, if one has known suffering it can give you a deepness to understand others, be it a animal that we leave out of out world or the smallest creature. Some say humans are  monkeys in a suit with car keys spending their  lifes in trafic and rare the special ones who dare stand out to be different, let them laught, fools folly for only the lucky know inside who they truly are and that takes a deep demention and age. 

Natural beauty is good but if not born so you can always use Professional makeup
