I am looking for a recipe for hair detangler that my daughter and I could use. I have tried putting a little conditioner in a spray bottle with water but my hair seems to get to greasy.
It really depends on how course your hair is, but my youngest has extremely course hair and my aunt, who was beautician told me to get a product called "Horse's Mane," you can get it at Sally's Beauty Supply. It works very well for extremely course hair
hi
nothing beats good ole vinager and water mixture. its cheaper than conditioners. take a picture of water to pour over your head and just pour a little of the vinager into. us ole timers grew up with it. the smell dont stay. lolol. i have very, very, very long hair and works for me. i like the smell, makes me feel clean. it also removes all the soap. vinager cleans you inside and out.
best of luck
God bless

depends on what your hair is like!!
i have really curly hair (I'm black and white), and i normally use Sebastian Laminates shampoo and conditioner. then i use a leave-in conditioner to keep my hair soft and silky, i use Garnier leave in conditioner (and thats the only Garnier product that works for me). but like i said, it depends on your hair type!! so if your hair gets super greasy, try using Paul Brown Hawaii shampoo, and definately dont buy any moisture renewing shampoo's and conditioners, they'll make it even worse!!
and try getting a haircut maybe!! whenever i get my hair trimmed ( like the dead ends) my hair always comes out looking even nicer than before!!
I have never tried it because I don't need it, BUT my sister says she and her daughter use regular fabric softner, like snuggle and she said it detangles and softens and removes the static electricity from your hair. She said they have been using it for years and they both have thick shiny hair, so it looks like it works.
I myself use L'Oreal conditioner, they have several different types for different types of hair and I have beautiful long shiny hair. So take it for what it's worth, I've never tried it, but they have been using fab softner for years and swear by it. And it's no doubt much cheaper then my L'Oreal, but I never mess with success. And for me L'Oreal is it.
