Other than going to a stylist and having an intensive conditioning done, is there a good "home remedy" that I can use to add shine to my "dry, brassy" looking hair?  I have highlights, but lately my hair just looks really dry and ashy or brassy looking.  HELP!!!!!!!!!

Use mosturising coditioners that are color/ highlight safe!(garnier fruitics)

For the cost of getting a conditioning treatment done at the salon you can just buy a bottle of really good conditioner from your stylist and do it yourself at home.  Wash your hair, blot the extra water off and apply a dalope of condioner to your hair.  Comb it through to the ends, cover with a plastic bag and wrap in a towel.  Leave it on for about a half and hour and rinse.  It is really important to follow with a daily cream rinse to seal in the condtioner, and your done.  This is what we do in the salon, only we would put you under a dryer to apply heat, this just speeds it up.  Good luck!
