I thought to bring out an interesting idea for a comic strip or book, but the actual conflict is far too intense for such a mellow medium. 

That belongs in a toned-down format on The Military Channel, where things unfit for civilian eyes appear routinely -- because it is intended for an audience accustomed to the worst barbarian misconduct the planet has ever seen.  That is warfare.  I cannot think of anything I hate worse than war.

Now that a spin-off has come around that actually "justifies" extremist Islam, then I can't think that there is much else to raise.  The very thought is severely frightening, because it would not be contained to a publication, but would become a horrifying reality here -- as it is throughout the Middle East.

I'm sorry that I ever considered the accursed thing.

I only hope that it dies here, instead of taking little children with it as we saw recently in Russia.

Leftists haven't been right yet -- about anyone or anything.

It is one thing to see combat on the Military Channel.  They never show the splat of human guts from a bomb blast.

 

Muslim kids see that every day.  They grow up with that sort of violence.  They hate us because we haven't suffered it.  They come here to make us endure what Islam put them through and that includes splashes of gore on every street corner every day.  It is only a matter of time.

 

I got out of Islamabad a week ago.  I won't say who I am.  If I did there would be thirty hit men all over my house.  I haven't seen my wife and kids in two years and if I visit them now they are dead meat.

 

That is how serious Islam is about bloodshed.

 

It is all they know and all they want to know.
