Baptist believe that God choices who to save and who not to save and we have no control over who God wants to save.

Although I have been to Baptist Churches and have been really blessed by the pastors sermon, I do not believe in predestination.  If we do not freedom of choice to either accept or reject Jesus then we are but robots and not thinking creations. 

God gave us a free will.  He did not create robots on the 7th day.
