bankrupcty- I live in Las Vegas, NV and loaned a significant amount of money to a family member who has since filed chapter13. She told me that she is required to first pay back the secured creditors before she has to pay family members. I don't think she even included the debt to me in her initial paperwork because she was attempting to make payments to me--but has since stopped.  Can I take her to small claims court to get my money...whether she did or did not include the debt to me in her bankruptcy?  Is this true that as a family member I will have to wait until her secured creditors are paid first?  I need help because she owes me over $4,000. and I'm out of work and need my money!  Thanks  cdblec@aol.com
