Hi,  I recently received a call from an agency claiming to collect a debt for bank of America,  they said it was from 2005 records,  of which I know nothing about,  how can I take action and  sue them , and ,  it may be recorded on my credit report, thanks

Do you have the name of the agency that called? Either way, report this to BOA and ask them to check it out.

It's very likely a scam.
