How to buy cheap bank repossessed cars for sale from government auctions?

Do you have any experience with bank repo cars, were there any problems with your purchase? Did you find any cheap bank repo cars?

All cars that are repossessed are held for a certain amount of time to see if tehe owner can get them back... they will all end up at an auction and sold to the highest bidder no matter what. some public auctions have repo cars come through.. but some are reserved to a dealers only auction.

....there are deals that just seem too good to be true?

The key is knowing where to go, taking some precautions and having an idea on how much to bid ( none of this is really that difficult ).

- You can discover where these auctions are by checking a local paper, searching online - not easy- or by subscribing to sites that give you this info. Look for as many auctions as you can find and don't forget online auctions.

- Study how past auctions went down, either by physically going to a few or online. See who the top bidders are, how much these cars go for, check the rules..

- Check the car with a mechanic and ask for a vehicle history report. Check the title.

- Know hidden expenses and select your top bid wisely.
