I rely on baking mixes for busy times of the year. Some of the flavors and types available these days are amazing. My family will eat them but prefer things I make myself. Can yours tell the difference?
Anybody who eats homemade regularly can tell the difference. Baking mixes produce stuff that's loaded with chemicals and tastes terrible, unless you like treats that taste like chemicals, additives, cardboard or cottonwool.
You can doctor up cake mixes successfully. Have you ever seen or used the 'Cake Doctor' cookbook?
