Do you want to do a background check on yourself? You should start by just "googling" yourself first. I don't really think you could get a background check for free. In this economy nothing is free.

If you wish to conduct a background check of yourself you could do so by accessing the websites online which offer free services for a background criminal record check of yourself but I just know how far or how complete the information they will give you unlike those websites which has a one-time minimal fee but give you a complete and detailed data of your search.

I have a better suggestion for you. Try this site Backgraoundcheckpa.com  they offer free initial background check it is base in Pennsylvania but they also do a nationwide check.

You should already be aware of what's on your criminal record. If you get convicted of something, employers will definitely be able to find out about it.

Start googling yourself, as another user already suggested.

But it doesn't hurt to get a free trial for a background check when such websites offer them.
