Discuss Brian's answer to: What is a bachlor of science degree?

BS degrees are awarded on successful completion of four years matriculation and either a statement or thesis depending on the college.  Some colleges offer quarter credits and others offer trimester credits.  Most students attend year around although most colleges have a month off in summer for vacation.
