When you and your baby are ready. Although personally, I think stopping before six months of age is wrong and going much past the age of two is a little icky.

If your child is old enough to talk and unbutton your blouse, it's way past time to stop!

(I nursed all three of my kids. The two oldest nursed until around age 2, my youngest refused after 18 months, which I've since learned is common.
