While hybyrd , electric are interesting and the hype to buy one to reduce impact on the environment is there, Is it really worth the extra cost? I don;t think so and I also doubt the stated lesser effects on the environment. Where does the electricity come from to fuel electric cars? How is that electricity created? From burning fossil fuels. Buy yourself a nice car with good gas mileage and wait about 50 years until a replacement fuel for oil is created. The USA needs to build more nuclear plants to create electricity.
