Would it be smart to buy an used 1989 dodge shadow for my first car? I haven't test driven it yet, but I don't want to waste my time.  Could I find parts for it easily if it broke down? Or is it just too old for me to spend moeny on?  It's 4000 and had 57,000 miles.

its not the best car but its far from the worst too. how many miles are on it? has the timing belt been changed? theres a reason you dont see too many of them on the road anymore! if you can get it cheap and drive it for a few months or even a year without putting too much money into it, its worth a shot.
