Electric shift isn't working properly The gear ...

electric shift isn't working properly  The gear indicator light blinks and the shifter doesn't seem to want to work when the light is flashing.  I have replaced the motor control, Has anyone else had this problem?

You need to plug the on-board diagnostic reader.. It should indicate the malfunction'
