When was the condition Lupus Systemic first aknowleged what year? When did the medical community first recognize that this auto immune condition existed?

The malar rash was described in the 12th century.  In 1872 the systemic effects were recognized.  In 1894 quinine was recognized as helpful.  In 1948 the LE cell was discovered.  Auto-immune diseases were recognized around 1957.
