This happened on my corolla and my camry. My brother fixed it on my old corolla but I probably won't get it fixed on my camry. It involves removing the console and I'm afraid it will be too expensive for me at this time. No harm in asking at your local repair shop what the charge will be. Maybe its a simple fuse problem. I may check into it when my finances allow.
