I assume you've never swapped out pads before.  If so, I recommend that you find someone who has to show you how.  While a fairly simple job, there are pitfalls and brakes are too important to not realize you made a mistake.  Once you've helped someone do it right, you'll have the procedure down.  Alternatively, go to a parts store and buy a repair manual for your 2002 nissan quest.
