Who has authority to post "NO GUNS INSIDE"

NRA.Com  I have a valid concealed carry permit. I was asked to leave the American Legion Post, after being "ratted out by psuedo friends". I was advised a sign outside the front door said "no guns inside". There was no authority stated for the sign. This is Yakima County, Washington State. Can anyone post a store, club or any place of business stating "No Guns Inside"?

I am an NRA Member!  Respons to: HHASL@ AOL.Com

Yes, actually, they can. They also have the right to refuse service to anyone, for any reason they wish. And you needed a gun at the American Legion hall why?

If a little knowledge is a dangerous thing, then that makes me a burning truck filled with TNT hurtling through a rocket fuel depot.

Yes, Bones is absolutely correct. Any business can refuse service to anyone they choose for any reason. Just as you have the right to ask someone to leave your home.

Life is a one lap race. Make many pitstops.

Depends on alcohol on the premises.  Most American Legions have bars -- only natural -- so they can't allow anyone to KNOWINGLY carry concealed on their premises.

Now, when you are in your car a long way from home, have valuables to protect, or are in a heavy neighborhood where you will have to protect yourself, that's a whole different story.  That is where you need to be armed.

"Don't leave home without it."

I wonder if there is a less intelligent form of life than brainless leftists?
