Discuss AOLMichael's answer to: what is an authentication error on aim mobile?

what is authentication error? i am able to sign to aim express with my user name but for some reason i keep on getting that error everytime i try to log on in aim mobile on my android phone.

Most of the time, you will get an authentication error as a result of trying to log in too quickly after your device has been asleep or if your device does not have a good connection. Please make sure that your connection is not poor before trying to log in.

I recently purchased a Motorola Droid Razor Maxx. After several days I stopped receiving emails from aol and got "authentication error" messages. My service stopped on June 20th. I am still able to receive messages on my gmail account. Verizon told me it was a problem with how AOl processes their email. What's up? I don't want to really drop aol, but unless i can get the email problem resolved on my phone, I guess I have no other choice.
