Denon DRA-25 Stereo Receiver. When switched on display always lights but often no sound is produced. When working normaly there is a click(Relay?) about 5secs after switch-on followed by output to speakers . When the unit fails the click is absent and no sound emerges. Is there a relay operated from power supply? or, is this the speaker protection system operating?

Any help appreciated

I'd suggest sending the audio player to the manufacturer, as it's likely you have a warranty and can get it fixed for nothing or next to nothing.
