Attached .Pdf files

When opening attached excel or word doc's, i have the option to "open".  When i get a .Pdf attachment, it doesn't allow me to open - it automatically saves the .Pdf to a download file which i then have to access, open etc.     How do i change this so i can just open the .Pdf directly from aol??
