Arthur f kellogg 3-31-1968 do you know him?

I used to know an Arthur F. Kellogg but he didn't look anything like the man in this picture. Do you have any other photos or info you could share that might help me determine if it's the same person? The Arthur I knew "ran away" from home in California before moving to Florida. I met him here but it was actually 1998 that I met him. He used to go by a nickname - Nathan. I'm not too sure about his date of birth because he would lie about his age but i remember finding his I.D. once and i'm pretty sure the DOB was Mar 31 and it was definitely in the 1960's. I wasn't very close with him, though. We dated for a few months. Some other things i remember about him was he played guitar and he claimed to be part eskimo. His car (which still had California plates) was a black mercedes. He listened to hair metal, goth, and new wave music.

I also knew the Arthur f. Kellogg that the girl from the other answer knew. I dated him for 4 years. His name was Arthur Fitch Kellogg and his birthday was March 31, 1968, while in South Florida, he went by the name Nathan Nagail. However, the name on his birth Certificate was Arthur. His birth certificate was from Santa Clara, California and his parents were listed as Kazuko and Francis Fitch Kellogg. He claimed to be an Innuit (Eskimo) Indian, but more likely he was of Asian decent. He had distinctly Asian features. I surmised that his father may have been in Either the Vietnam or Korean war, where he met Arthur's mother. He was about 6 to 6 1/2 feet tall, slender, with dark hair and eyes which were almond shaped. His front teeth were a bit crooked on the top. He often dyed his hair different colors.

That being said, he was EXTREMELY secretive about his past and his family. He told me that he had run away as a teen to live on the streets of Los Angeles. I know that he did keep in contact with his family albeit sporadically. He told me that he did not want his family to know exactly where he was, so he maintained p.o. boxes wherever he moved to. And he carried a beeper and he would go to a payphone to call them back. I know that when he left California, he did so with a girlfriend named Kayla who from pictures he showed me was very pretty, with caramel colored long hair. While in Los Angeles, he was into skateboarding and sustained an injury to his (I think) left wrist among other scars. He was a talented guitarist and was in several bands including Revlon Red (in LA  where he used the name Ratt) and Divine Love Mission and Electric Witchdance (in So. Fl where he called himself Nathan). When he moved to Florida, he settled for a time in Miami, but moved to Ft. Lauderdale and then West Palm Beach/Lake Worth when he and I were dating.He drove an older model (80's)Mercedes that was black, with California licence plates. Until sometime between 1999-2000 when it was rear ended in a crash. He and I broke up shortly thereafter. I only spoke to his mother once, and it was after he and I had split up. She was trying to get a hold of him and hadn't spoken to him in a while. I made some calls to some of our friends and he called her. That is the last I heard from either of them.

Unfortunately, he was too fond of drinking and drugs, and he did lie a lot. So I am not certain that I was told the truth at all. The only reason I saw his Birth Certificate was an accident on his part. He did like Glam Rock like Motley Crue and Ratt and also other 80's music.

He had a few close male friends in South Florida, Robie, Ben, Tracy, and Zack.

Sadly, between 2000 and 2002, I received word from his friend and band mate that he had overdosed on a combination of Drugs and alcohol which stopped his heart. I was living in Philadelphia at the time, and I came to Florida for his services. It was attended by many of the people in Florida who knew and loved him. He was buried at Memory gardens in West Palm Beach/Lake Worth area (possibly Greenacres). Before the funeral the police had searched for his family, but found that his father was also passed away. He had a step-mother, but she either didn't get along with him, or didn't know him. And no one was able to find his mother, either. He had told me once that she travelled for work a lot. My friends and I had a private investigator look into finding them to no avail.

If this sounds like the Arthur that you are speaking of...I am SO sorry to be the one to have to give you such devastating news. Thinking that his family hasn't known has plagued me for years. Please accept my deepest sympathies and know that he was loved by many and that he is missed.

I knew him for several years. We used to work as stagehands, and played together in different bands. We lived in a warehouse in Pompano Beach Florida for several months before he moved out, at which point I lost track of him, and last I heard he was hanging out with this guy "Reptile" that is still notorious for drug use in the local South Florida "goth" scene, the day he passed away. I remember the name Arthur Kellogg. He went by "Nathan".. Deborah, whom I also know, gave a very accurate account on here. I went to his funeral and we tried tried to raise up money for a headstone because the story was that his parents wanted nothing to do with him after trying to contact them. He always had this far away look of sadness in his eyes. At least he had friends that loved him. I still miss my friend

He died the afternoon of July 8, 2001 of a fatal combination of methadone and Xanax in Miami Beach.

My daughter dated him in San Jose for most of her teen-age years. He and his mother moved to Hawaii in 1990 or so...I got a post-card from him asking us to send him his skateboard stuff around 1991..and that was the last we heard from him. He was always anti drugs in those days as he considered himself an athlete!
