Discuss jkgrandma's answer to: Is this art or bad taste?

Personally, I wouldn't call it a "sculpture" if it's made from an actual human skull. The "artist" didn't 'sculpt' a darn thing; s/he just embellished something that already existed. I also agree that this item is in poor taste ~ and I don't consider it to be "art."

I do think that art is subjective and I realize not everyone will agree on what is, or isn't, "art," but I think this is one of those objects that just screams "trying too hard," kind of like that idiot "Christo" who wraps fabric around, over or upon the landscape and calls it "art."

Your mind just goes, "And they got paid how much for this???"
