Anybody that doesn't want to modularize a large program is a pin-headed racist dumbshit. The can't think except in conspiratorial terms and they sleep with their sister's brother. (Or the other way around. I always forget.)

I have learned this arguing skill since being here. It you spend some time here, then you might be able to catch on.

If you are looking for an intelligent and well-reasoned argument, well--------------you are in the wrong place.

Keep close to Nature's heart... climb a mountain or spend a week in the woods. Wash your spirit clean.* Victims of circumstance owe it to fate. Victims of choice owe it to themselves.*One of the widest gaps in human experience is the gap between what we say we want to be and our willingness to discipline ourselves to get there.

An argument that might be true is that a large program can be optimized better by the compiler.  And there is a certain overhead with function calls if they are not inline.  You shouldn't have a lot of functions that are just a few lines.

But if you want correctness and maintainability, breaking it into modules makes it possible to test and modify without having accidental interactions like a global variable ijk that was used somewhere else.

Good suggestion Bone. Reading is educational and can help one formulate their own thoughts better, if they read some good books. Additionally, for some who tend to dwell excessively on the negatives in the world, some good books can help by putting some focus on positive things.
