Why are't my hens laying anymore

I have Rhode Island Red chickens that are 2 years old. I am getting only a couple of eggs a day, the past 2 days I haven't gotten any. Will they be any good if I butcher them? Is there something to make them start laying again or is it usual for them to stop laying ths early? By the way I have 8 hens and 1 rooster.

My rooster is not eating, he's disoriented,

You should ask your vet. It may be something he ate. Or he may be ill with something. But only a vet would know. I know it's an expense, but you NEED to know the cause in case it's something that can spread to the other chickens.
