Archery Supplies Bow Release

Archery Supplies I am looking to find out the name of the  Bow release that holds your bow string as if it were a cross bow for people who have problems holding their bows for a lenght of time because of medical problems

Can't you google a supply store or sporting goods store to find this? That's what I would do rather than post this here.

The best place to start is Bass pro shops.  Here is one of their caliper type string releases.  I still like my Top Shot release though.  Ball type releases are a lot more controllable and reliable than caliper type.  Calipers can release on you mid draw.  Ball type never do that but they are a little rougher on strings.  I'd a lot rather have a smooth ball release than a caliper.
