I have my first appt with a pain clinic tomorrow ...

I have my first appt with a pain clinic tomorrow. I have 2 questions. First, I suffer from migraines, and ran out of pain meds a few days early, so I took some of my grandmothers norco to get rid of my headache.  I know that will show up on my ua, so should I tell them that I took them. (because they'll obviously find out). and 2nd; I got my monthly pain meds filled today because it's the beginning of the month, can the pain dr take those prescriptions away from me.  The dr that prescribed them is the one sending me to the clinic so I'm not trying to get rx's from different drs.  p.s. I have NOT signed a pain contract with my neurologist (the one prescribing my current pain meds)

just be honest with the doctor. he is there to help you, but can't do that until you tell him the truth.

the doctor won't take away your medication.

but the fact that are getting pain medication from different doctors can and will raise a red flag. the pharmacist can call the different doctors and tell them what you are doing, and ask if they are aware you are taking all these medications at once.

i'm not a doctor, i just play one on t.v.

Why are you going to a pain clinic for migraines?  You should be going to a neurologist for migraines.

It is crazy how many people out there do not have the common sense to take their kids (or grandkids) to the Doctor. There is no such medical term as a "kernel". That's CORN!! Sharp pain below knee following medial meniscus knee surgery

Probable medial collateral ligament displacement that happens when the knee joint is expanded for the surgery. I have had clients with this experience. You need a therapist with experienced hands to help you guide it back into place then your exercise and activity will allow it to get stronger.
