No. Just...no. I suggest, however, that if you have gas heating and appliances, you have your local gas company inspect your apartment for carbon dioxide leakage. It's normally a free inspection. An excess of carbon dioxide from faulty heaters and such can causes several; serious effects, including severe headaches.

If a little knowledge is a dangerous thing, then that makes me a burning truck filled with TNT hurtling through a rocket fuel depot.

No.  Apartments don’t need oxygen.  Brains and cells and living things get oxygen deprived not your crib in the projects.
