Though you may not be interested in visiting the temples in Coimbatore, I would suggest that you visit the Patteeswarar and Marudamalai temples there. The old statues are too good. There are also many budgeted hotel rooms starting from Rs. 600/- to luxury hotel rooms and resorts that are priced from Rs. 3,500/- and above. Waterfalls, dams and Wildlife Sanctuaries are worth visiting.
