AOL (not responding)

AOL is so slow and keeps saying (not responding).  Any suggestions

When I was using dial up, It didnt take much for my aol to do that. Like if someone called while i was online then my whole pc would freeze up. I also downloaded a thing to clear cookies and temp internet files and it helps speed it up a lil.

My aol mail has become extremely slow to load and respond

One thing that may help is to sign off AOL, then use Mail, Mail Settings, Manage Saved Mail, Compact. Another thing you can do is to delete some of the mail; the more mail you have, the longer it takes to load. You don't need to keep the daily joke, or the invitation to a time-share presentation.
