I had the same problem all day yesterday and today.  I was able to use AOL desktop to get my mail; it had been so long since I used it that I ended up getting a quick upgrade.  Be aware that your mail dates might be wrong, but click anyway to see the actual, up-to-date mail.  So, if you happen to have that, you can still use AOL mail.

Good question. Since they introduced the "New and Improved AOL" my email has become very unreliable. At the worse time of course. Been with them for well over 10 years. Never had this trouble.

Totally unacceptable and very unprofessional!  Many of us depend upon our email for business purposes.  If this keeps up I hope some enterprising young lawyer files a class action suit against the idiots.

I have not had access to my 'old' e-mail all day.  i was on hold for'customer service' about a half hour this morning to get a curt answer that they are working on it.

AOL:  Stop playing games and publish the problem, the status and the prognosis.   If my business e-mails are irretrievably lost, a class action law suit will find me as a member.
