If you're using AOL webmail (http://webmail.aol.com):1) Create a distribution list. Select "Contacts" from the left hand panel. Click the "New" button, and select "New List". Complete creation of the list. 2) When addressing an email to this list, to make the addresses hidden to other recipients, you'll want to BCC them (blind carbon copy). To do that, click on Settings(upper right corner) ->Compose-> enable Always show Bcc field and Save. Then enter the list name in the BCC field as you Compose a new message and send.

If you're using AOL Clients (like AOL 9.1): 1) Create a distribution list. Go to your Address Book, select "Groups" from the list on the right, click the "Groups Options" button and add a group. 2) When composing a message, add the group name to the Send To field and then enclose it in parenthesis -- for example (groupname). This will BCC the recipients.

Please note that often, AOL and other systems, identify these types of message (with large lists of BCCed people) as Spam. This is a common technique spammers use. While that's clearly not your intent, to mitigate the issue with mail systems everywhere, and if you're having issues sending the mail as is, separate the list in to several smaller lists, and send the several messages a few minutes apart.
