What does "currently unavailable" for message status mean?

This means the server is busy and not able to connect to the server. This may be an intermittent issue so please try after some time.

What does "internet" mean in aol message status?

Status "Internet" means that you sent the mail to somewhere outside AOL, which means that AOL cannot report whether the mail was received or read.
